To hire artists to perform dances, play musical instruments and/or demonstrate crafts in order to show aspects of some of the indigenous cultures of Latin America, at the “Touched by an Angel” program in December and at Rivers and Spires in April 2011.

“Aaron James Trial Museum Theater Project”
To create a museum theater production that interprets life for civilians in Dickson County when it was occupied by the Federal Army during the Civil War, focusing on the arrest and trial of Aaron James, accused Confederate guerrilla fighter in the region.

“ZAPP Jury for Firefly Fine Arts Festival 2011″
To cover the expenses of the ZAPP Jury Process for the 3rd Annual Firefly Fine Arts Festival, allowing the organization to advertise the festival to artists across the country and allowing those artists to submit work to the festival digitally.

To build interest and excitement for the arts in Houston County and the surrounding area by creating video promotions to be aired on local public access television and published on the web and by utilizing custom posters, radio spots and billboards.

“Young Entertainers on Stage (YES! Theatre) Present Annie Jr.”
To teach children K-12 from Dickson and surrounding counties the fundamentals of theatre through their participation both on- and off-stage in a musical production of Annie Jr., culminating in public performances at The Renaissance Center in March 2011.

To design and choreograph a performing arts presentation with period dancing, performed by youth and local musicians, which portrays the roles of women in the mid-1860s as a component of the Civil War Sesquicentennial programming.
