Each year the Clarksville Arts & Heritage Development Council recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the artistic and historical cultural life of Montgomery County. Established in 2006, AHDC Lifetime Achievement Awards are presented at our annual membership meeting in November.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT IN THE ARTS
To recognize artists, arts scholars, patrons or promoters who have made outstanding contributions to the artistic and cultural life of Clarksville, Tennessee. The award is intended to honor long-term achievements in supporting or participating in activities which foster excellence in, appreciation of, or access to the arts in Montgomery County.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT IN HERITAGE
To recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the understanding, preservation and appreciation of our historical heritage in Clarksville, Tennessee. The award is intended to honor long-term achievements in discovering, preserving and passing on Montgomery County’s unique history and the accomplishments of its earlier citizens.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
To nominate an area resident for one of these awards, please submit a completed Lifetime Achievement Award Nomination Form and supporting information by mail to PO Box 555, Clarksville TN 37041. PLEASE NOTE: Only organizations, businesses or individuals from within Montgomery County may nominate, and nominees must be individuals living in or with close ties to Montgomery County. Previous recipients are not eligible for a future Lifetime Achievement Award. The nomination and selection process is coordinated by the Clarksville Arts & Heritage Development Council Board of Directors. Nominations must be received no later than 4:30pm on September 15, and late nominations will not be considered.
